Zara, welcome to Film News. Can you introduce yourself for our readers please?
Hi, I am Zara Jirgis, I am 10 year-old actor, and model, and I live in Los Angeles.

What got you into acting and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
I kind of fell into it! When I was 4, I was told I looked like Disney’s Princess Jasmine and have played a young Jasmine ever since. One of my first jobs was in Disney Princess “Dream Big Princess” campaign. From then on, I began booking commercials and shows as Princess Jasmine for Walt Disney.

I can absolutely see that! Can you tell us about the Disney’s Reimagine Tomorrow Reflections film?
Disney’s Reimagine Tomorrow shows their commitment of storytelling in the current world we live in and in the future world. It brings diversity, equality, and inclusion, as well as including the underrepresented voices into their story telling.

What character do you play?
In Disney’s Reimagine Tomorrow I play a young middle eastern girl who’s excited to see her grandfather come home and gets to play hide-and-seek throughout the house.

How can we see this film?
You can watch the film on the Disney’s Reimagine Tomorrow website as well as several places online.

Do you do any acting classes / training?
I have taken acting classes at Marine Cooper School of Acting, hip-hop dance classes with Guy Groove, jazz dance classes with Kelly Sweeny. Choir classes at my school, and Voice Over classes. My days are pretty busy as you can see.

How do you prepare for a role?
The way I prepare for a role is I’ll watch a few episodes of the show I’m auditioning for if the show is already on tv so I can get a sense of the show and how the characters are. I’ll go over my lines several times with my mom to make sure I’m off book. Then I’ll get right into the audition. Sometimes if it’s a huge role for a series regular or feature film I’ll get some one on one coaching for it.

If you weren’t into acting what else would you be doing?
If I wasn’t into acting, I’d probably just be at home playing with toys, friends and spending my time at park with my friends all day. I am only 10 after all.

Can you tell us 5 things not many people know about you?
Sure! I’m a 12/12/12 baby, I’m great at drawing, I love sushi and pizza, I take choir in school, and I collect Funko Pops.

Finally, how can people find and follow your journey?
