Cheryl has been praised for her first show of West End thriller 2:22 A Ghost Story.

Earlier this evening, Cheryl alongside Hugo Chegwin, Louise Ford and Scott Karim took to the London Lyric Theatre stage.

Taking to social media, theatre-goers were excited to share their thoughts on the Geordie pop-star as she starred as Jenny:

One user said: ‘Fair play to Cheryl, she more than held her own on opening night of Ghost Story 2:22. Hearing her say “I’m ready” once again was the cherry on the cake’

While another pennned: ‘That was awesome. Cheryl you were fab (so were you all)’

A third added: ‘That was electric! I got so many goosebumps! Cheryl made her West End Debut and was brilliant as Jenny so were cast members Scott Karim as Sam, Louise Ford as Lauren & Ben Cutler as Ben!’

2:22 A Ghost Story is at Lyric Theatre, London, until April 2023.

It is not the first time Cheryl has dipped her toe into the acting world. The ‘Parachute’ singer has previously had roles in in Hollywood movie ‘What To Expect When You're Expecting’ and had a small role as a music agent in 2020 film ‘Four Kids And It’.
