The global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! celebrated its 20th anniversary in London’s West End at the Novello Theatre on Saturday 6 April. Now, in the musical’s 21st year, the producers have announced major cast changes in the London production from Monday 10 June 2019.

Mazz Murray, who has previously played Tanya in the London production, will be returning to the musical, but this time in the main role as Donna.

Mazz, who’s glittering career so far includes appearances as the Killer Queen in We Will Rock You and Mama Morton in Chicago, Maureen in Rent, and Dusty Springfield in A Girl Called Dusty, cannot wait to get started:

‘I couldn’t be more excited about playing Donna.

‘As a little girl who had just started theatre school, I was obsessed with Abba’s music.

‘I remember having ABBA’s greatest hits on cassette, and listening to it over and over again on my walkman.

‘And here I am thirty odd years later singing their songs on stage. Undoubtedly a dream come true.

“It’s certainly the biggest role that I've had in my career so far and the most challenging - the first where I will be on stage the entire time - and I can’t wait to get started.’
