Following a sold-out run at the Apollo Theatre, production company Melting Pot has announced that Florian Zeller’s smash hit comedy The Truth will return to London next summer for a strictly limited 12-week season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, starting Thursday 29 July 2027, before embarking on a UK tour.

The production reunites its star-studded comic cast comprising Stephen Mangan (The Split, Episodes), Ardal O’Hanlon (Father Ted, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast), Sarah Hadland (Miranda, The Job Lot), and double Olivier Award-winner Janie Dee.

Directed by Lindsay Posner (A View From The Bridge, Noises Off) and translated by Christopher Hampton, Zeller’s Olivier-nominated play explores a web of secrets and lies between two couples. The narrative centers on Michel (Stephen Mangan), a man engaged in an affair with his best friend’s wife, who attempts to convince himself and those around him that honesty is overrated.

Producer Simon Friend commented: "The Truth was a sell-out sensation over its run at the Apollo Theatre, which finished a few weeks ago, and our magnificent cast had such fun with Florian's comic masterpiece that they’re reuniting to bring more gales of laughter to the West End. We’re enormously grateful to Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen for welcoming the show into the Theatre Royal Haymarket for another season next year before heading out across the country."

Following its London run, the production will tour to major UK venues in autumn 2027, including the Theatre Royal, Brighton; The Lowry, Salford; The Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham; and the Theatre Royal, Glasgow.
