RENT original Broadway and screen stars Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal are set to reunite in London next month for a major 30th anniversary celebration of the landmark musical at Musical Con. The duo will appear across the weekend of Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October 2026 at ExCeL London, marking thirty years since Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking show first took the world by storm.
Rapp and Pascal originated the iconic roles of Mark Cohen and Roger Davis on Broadway in 1996 before bringing them to London’s Shaftesbury Theatre in 1998. They later reprised their roles in the 2005 feature film adaptation. During the special anniversary event, both actors will take to the main stage to perform live, share behind-the-scenes stories, and reflect on their extraordinary three-decade journey with the production. Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in dedicated Meet & Greet experiences with the stars, available as add-ons for ticket holders.
The high-profile reunion coincides with the fifth anniversary edition of Musical Con, recognized as the world's largest musical theatre fan convention. The two-day gathering brings together top performers, industry professionals, and theatre enthusiasts for an immersive weekend featuring live performances, panel discussions, artist interviews, workshops, and cosplay competitions.
Convention co-founders Shanay Holmes and Chris Steward highlighted the significance of bringing the pair back together in the UK capital.
