New production images have been released featuring drag icon and actor Jinkx Monsoon starring in the West End production of Cole Escola's dark comedy Oh, Mary! at the Trafalgar Theatre.
Jinkx Monsoon makes her West End stage debut reprising her performance as Mary Todd Lincoln, a role she previously performed to sold-out audiences during an eight-week Broadway engagement and subsequent encore run.
The West End cast features Scott Karim as Mary’s Husband, Dino Fetscher as Mary’s Teacher, Kate O’Donnell as Mary’s Chaperone, and Oliver Stockley as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant. This cast line-up will perform through 26 September 2026, with the production currently booking at the Trafalgar Theatre through Saturday 2 January 2027.
Written by Cole Escola, Oh, Mary! is an 80-minute one-act dark comedy that examines the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination through the perspective of a suffocated, unfulfilled Mary Todd Lincoln. The story explores themes of alcoholism, suppressed ambition, and unrequited desires.
The production originally premiered Off-Broadway at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in January 2024 before transferring to Broadway's Lyceum Theatre in July 2024. Following its London opening at the Trafalgar Theatre on 3 December 2025, the play won Best Entertainment or Comedy Play at the 2026 Olivier Awards. It has also earned Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor in a Play and Best Direction of a Play, alongside Drama League Awards and a selection as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. A US national tour is scheduled to launch this autumn.
Directed by Sam Pinkleton, the creative team features scenic design by dots, costume design by Holly Pierson, lighting design by Cha See, sound design and original music by Daniel Kluger, additional sound design by Drew Levy, wig design by Leah J. Loukas, and musical arrangements by David Dabbon, with UK casting by Stuart Burt CDG.
Oh, Mary! continues its run at the Trafalgar Theatre, London, with tickets available via the box office.
