Wilton’s Music Hall has unveiled its spectacular Autumn 2026 season, bringing an eclectic blend of theatre, music, opera, comedy, and cabaret to the world’s oldest surviving Grand Music Hall. Running from September through January 2027, the newly announced line-up promises a vibrant mixture of world premieres, celebrated comedians, and classic literary adaptations.
The season launches in September with a series of distinct theatrical events, beginning with Tom Dugan's acclaimed Holocaust survivor drama Wiesenthal, followed closely by illusionist David Alnwick's Victorian magic showcase, The Signalman. Opera lovers can look forward to a fresh, village-fête-inspired English translation of Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love, presented by the Waterperry Opera Festival and Charles Court Opera. The month continues with Exeter Northcott Theatre's moving production of Michael Morpurgo’s Private Peaceful and Arthur Hull making his London debut with FLOP! The Best Songs From The Worst Musicals. Award-winning comedian and Taskmaster favourite Tim Key also lands a week-long residency with his brand-new national tour show, Loganberry.
October introduces plenty of physical theatre and historical adaptations, including a live piano-backed screening of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and the physical comedy show A Brief Case of Crazy. Audiences will also be treated to a bold new staging of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet by The Duke’s Theatre Company, and a special appearance by Stewart Lee performing Pea Green Boat. The month concludes with a major highlight: the world premiere of Stoker Wilde, an electrifying glam-rock musical concert produced by Jerry Goehring and Andrew House that charts the fierce creative rivalry between literary icons Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde.
November maintains the momentum with high-profile musical showcases, featuring Liza Pulman and Joe Stilgoe in Hooray for Hollywood, and a unique interpretation of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro performed in a distinct Yorkshire dialect by the Bradford Opera Festival. Finally, the festive season is anchored by the venue's major Christmas production, Arthur Pita’s Olivier Award-nominated dance-theatre piece The Little Match Girl. Making its venue debut from 3 December to 2 January, the visually captivating show will offer seasonal refreshments like mulled wine and mince pies to complete the ultimate magical experience.
