Secret Cinema and TodayTix have announced a spectacular new immersive production inspired by Disney’s iconic blockbuster film franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean, sailing into London for its world premiere in February 2027. This exclusive, limited ten-week run marks the very first time the beloved cinematic franchise has been adapted into a fully immersive, in-person theatrical experience.
Licensed through an agreement with Disney Theatrical Group, the show is brought to life by Secret Cinema’s multi-award-winning creative team. The production will plunge guests directly into the legendary world of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Audiences will have the complete freedom to roam richly detailed environments, encounter iconic characters, and become part of the story themselves. The high-energy adventure features cinematic-scale sets, live theatrical performances, dazzling aerial stunts, fearless swordfights, and a live band.
The production will also serve as the grand opening for Secret Cinema's new long-term flagship venue at Greenwich Peninsula, situated along the riverfront just a short walk from North Greenwich tube station and The O2. Merritt Baer, Artistic Director of Secret Cinema and Co-Founder of TodayTix, expressed immense excitement for the launch, promising a journey that will blur the lines between film, theatre, and live spectacle in their most ambitious production ever.
Angelo Desimini, Senior Vice President of Licensed Partnerships & Brand Management at Disney Theatrical Group, highlighted that the franchise is powered by adventure, music, and iconic characters, making it a world that naturally invites audiences to step inside. Desimini added that the collaboration allows them to reimagine how fans engage with the property, acting not as spectators but as participants in a live, communal experience.
Fans eager to secure their tickets can sign up for exclusive presale access online now. General ticket sales will officially open on June 1, 2026. Long-term partner O2 Priority has already initiated its presale window, with additional presale opportunities available via TodayTix, Disney, and Visa, the production’s Official Payment Partner.
