Theatrical producer Josh Andrews has officially announced that a major new World Premiere stage production of Before I Go To Sleep will embark on an extensive tour across the UK and Ireland from January to June 2027. Based on the international bestselling novel by S.J. Watson, which was previously adapted into a hit feature film starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth, this highly anticipated psychological thriller will open at the Richmond Theatre before traveling to major regional venues.
Acclaimed actor, author, and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher will star as the central protagonist, Christine. Fletcher is well-known to theatre audiences for her previous high-profile stage roles in The Girl on the Train, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and the West End smash hit 2:22 A Ghost Story. The gripping new adaptation is written by Rachel Wagstaff and directed by Loveday Ingram, reuniting the celebrated creative team behind 2025's immensely successful touring production of The Girl on the Train. Fletcher expressed her personal excitement about the project, noting that she was entirely hooked by the original book and is delighted to be working with Wagstaff and Ingram once again.
The fast-paced thriller delves into the life of Christine, a woman who appears to have an idyllic existence with one terrifying catch: every night when she goes to sleep, her memory completely vanishes.
