The producers of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical Hadestown have announced a massive ticket release for its acclaimed London production. Now in its third celebrated year at the Lyric Theatre in the West End, the show has made more than 140,000 new tickets available to the public, officially extending the booking period through to June 27, 2027.

This newly released block of tickets covers performances from December 17, 2026, onward, and includes the show's confirmed schedule for the upcoming festive season. Theatergoers looking to secure their seats for the extended run can purchase tickets directly through the production's official website.

Coinciding with the extension, the production has released exclusive new photography and video footage from a unique performance staged at the V&A South Kensington. As part of the museum’s annual Performance Festival—which this year operated under the theme "Echoes"—the cast and musicians performed a selection of songs from the show inside the Medieval and Renaissance Gallery. The intimate performance saw the actors surrounded by historical sculptural depictions of figures from Greek mythology, mirroring the ancient roots of the theatrical narrative.

The current West End company is led by a star-studded cast, featuring Rachel Adedeji as Persephone, Bethany Antonia as Eurydice, Marley Fenton as Orpheus, Alastair Parker as Hades, and Clive Rowe as Hermes. Together, they bring to life Anaïs Mitchell’s genre-defying score, which seamlessly blends American songwriting traditions ranging from indie folk and blues to pop and New Orleans-inspired jazz.

Developed alongside Tony Award-winning director Rachel Chavkin, Hadestown intertwines two mythic love stories: the tragic romance of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and the complex relationship between King Hades and his wife Persephone. Produced in London by Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, Tom Kirdahy, and the National Theatre in association with JAS Theatricals, this deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful production continues to invite West End audiences to imagine how the world could be.
