Jeffrey Seller and Cameron Mackintosh have unveiled a major cast change for the West End production of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton. Starting Monday, 15 June 2026, a new company of revolutionaries will take the stage at the Victoria Palace Theatre, where the multi-award-winning musical is currently booking through 13 March 2027.

Leading the company in the titular role of Alexander Hamilton is Stephenson Ardern-Sodje, who famously began his career in the original London ensemble before starring as Simba in The Lion King. Joining him is two-time Olivier Award nominee Georgina Onuorah, who returns to the production as Angelica Schuyler following acclaimed runs in Kiss Me, Kate and Shucked.

The principal cast also welcomes Akmed Junior Khemalai as George Washington, Ashley J. Daniels as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Bellinfantie, who makes his West End debut as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison. Shak Mancel James completes the core group as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton.

Several fan favorites will continue their journey with the show. Yeukayi Ushe transitions into the pivotal role of Aaron Burr, while Bente Mulan remains as Eliza Hamilton. Jasmine Jia Yung Shen continues as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, and Daniel Boys maintains his comedic reign as King George III.

In a highly anticipated summer engagement, original Broadway star Leslie Odom, Jr. is set to reprise his Tony Award-winning role as Aaron Burr from 3 July through 5 September 2026. During his brief absences in late July, Yeukayi Ushe will step back into the role.

The production continues to thrive under the direction of Thomas Kail and the iconic choreography of Andy Blankenbuehler. Based on Ron Chernow’s landmark biography, Hamilton features a genre-defying score that has transformed the landscape of modern theatre.

Tickets are available starting from £20 with no booking fees. Fans are encouraged to book early to experience this new generation of talent in what remains the hottest ticket in the West End.
