In a powerful display of cultural and humanitarian advocacy, some of the most prominent names in British arts are joining forces for Voices of Solidarity II. Taking place at The Troxy, London, on 14 May 2026, this landmark fundraiser aims to raise critical funds for Health Workers 4 Palestine (HW4P), an international collective of medical professionals supporting their embattled colleagues in Gaza.

A Star-Studded Lineup for a Critical Cause

The one-off performance features an extraordinary assembly of talent. Icons of stage and screen, including Harriet Walter (Succession), Juliet Stevenson (Truly, Madly, Deeply), Maxine Peake (Shameless), and Khalid Abdalla (The Crown), will lead a night of theatre and performance. They are joined by the legendary musician and producer Brian Eno, alongside comedians Jen Brister and Fatiha El Ghouri, ensuring a diverse program of artistry and reflection.

The timing of the event is deeply symbolic, falling 78 years after the Nakba. Actor Khalid Abdalla described the evening as a necessary gathering of human emotion: "Join us for the most urgent evening of the year... as we face what it means to commemorate the Nakba on this 78th year of Sumud for a Free Palestine."

Addressing the Healthcare Crisis

The fundraiser comes at a devastating moment for the medical community. Since 2023, over 1,700 health workers have lost their lives in Gaza. With 37 international NGOs—including Oxfam and Médecins Sans Frontières—reportedly blocked from entering the region, the role of local Palestinian medics has become a vital, yet perilous, lifeline.

"Healthcare is a human right, but in Gaza it has been destroyed," stated Juliet Stevenson. "Health Workers 4 Palestine are helping medics on the ground to save lives. Please join me in standing with them."

Direct Impact on the Ground

All proceeds from the event will benefit HW4P’s Solidarity Fund for Gaza. Co-designed with local doctors, the fund provides stipends to overstretched medical staff, finances mobile clinics, and supports the reconstruction of essential maternity wards.

Dr. Omar Abdel-Mannan, founder of HW4P, emphasized the importance of this cultural support: "Our colleagues are saving lives in unimaginably brutal conditions. It means so much that leading voices from every discipline in the arts are coming together to show their solidarity."
