The Queens of the Vaudeville Theatre have more than just their crowns to celebrate this week. The producers of the global phenomenon SIX have officially announced that the SIX the Musical (Studio Cast Recording) has been certified Platinum.
The milestone was marked on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, during a high-energy gala performance at the Vaudeville Theatre. The evening served a dual purpose: celebrating the Platinum certification and welcoming the newest reign of West End "Queens" to the stage.
Following the final curtain, the show’s creators, Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, were surprised on stage with Platinum discs. The presentation was led by Matt Hemley, Editor of The Stage, who was joined by the current company to recognize the monumental achievement. The ceremony also honored the core creative team behind the album, including producer Sam Featherstone, orchestrator Tom Curran, and musical supervisor Joe Beighton.
Originally recorded in 2018, the Studio Cast Album features the powerhouse vocals of Renée Lamb, Christina Modestou, Natalie Paris, Genesis Lynea, Aimie Atkinson, and Izuka Hoyle. Since its debut, the recording has become a cornerstone of the show’s viral success. Between the Studio Cast Recording and the Grammy-nominated Broadway album, the music of SIX has now surpassed a staggering 5 billion streams worldwide.
To commemorate this achievement, a limited-edition platinum vinyl pressing is scheduled for release in Autumn 2026. Fans can secure their copy via pre-order at the official show website.
As SIX continues its record-breaking run at the Vaudeville Theatre—currently booking until January 2027—a new cast has officially taken the throne. The new lineup includes Adrianne Langley, Marisha Morgan, Jessica Aubrey, Freya Karlettis, Leesa Tulley, and Nia Stephen, who makes her West End debut.
With over 35 international awards and a social media following exceeding 1.5 million, SIX remains a dominant force in "Her-story," proving that these Tudor wives are far more than just a historical footnote.
