The raw, unfiltered energy of 1977 London is set to ignite the Etcetera Theatre this May. Martin Muscatt and Taurus Trakker have officially announced the world premiere of Stickin’ Boy, a gritty new punk rock ’n’ roll musical that dives deep into the vice-ridden heart of vintage Soho. Running for a strictly limited six-night engagement from 5–10 May 2026, the production promises a rebellious journey through a world of underground music, survival, and high-stakes gambling.

A Collaboration with Punk Royalty

Written and directed by Martin Muscatt, the show boasts a significant pedigree: additional material was contributed by Mick Jones of The Clash. This collaboration brings an undeniable authenticity to the production, channeling the same spirit that defined the UK punk explosion.

"Stickin’ Boy began with me, Mick Jones, and a laptop," says Muscatt. "This musical play we’ve been working on for ages is finally happening... I can’t wait to see it take form on stage."

Love and Danger in the Vice Trade

The story centers on Eddy (Tom Patrick Coley), a 20-year-old aspiring musician suffocating under a dead-end job and a mounting gambling debt. His life takes a sharp turn when he meets Candy (Phoebe White), a sex worker who recruits him as her "stickin’ boy"—the person responsible for the clandestine task of placing calling cards in London’s iconic red phone boxes.

As Eddy navigates this neon-lit underworld, he is guided by a cast of colorful yet hardened characters, including the formidable Madame O (Jennie BelleStar) and the dangerous Psycho Jack (Ben Durling).

A Multi-Sensory Experience

Beyond the stage, the production is supported by a double vinyl album featuring original tracks by London’s own Taurus Trakker, alongside cast recordings. The music captures the jagged pulse of the era, blending garage rock sensibilities with the theatrical flair of a "punk rock opera."
