The highly anticipated new musical Rosie is set to make its historic West End debut this spring. Following more than a decade of meticulous development, the production will arrive at the prestigious Adelphi Theatre on the Strand for a landmark live event. This debut is scheduled as a one-night-only, semi-staged gala performance taking place on Tuesday 17 March 2026.

Audiences attending this strictly limited live date will witness the premiere of a story based on the remarkable true life of Miss Rosie Boote. The narrative follows her journey from an Irish convent to the bright lights of Edwardian London, where she pursued her dreams of becoming a West End star. It is a tale defined by passion, scandal, and courageous determination, brought to life by an expansive company of performers.

The title role will be played by Lucy Thomas, known to many from The Voice Kids. She leads a cast that has recently been finalized with the addition of Sally Ann Triplett as Lady Edith and Dylan Wood as Stanley Roberts. They join a formidable lineup of stage veterans including Will Callan, Desmonda Cathabel, and Madalena Alberto, ensuring the gala performance features some of the finest vocal talent currently working in British theatre.

The creative team for this specific live engagement is led by director and choreographer Cressida Carré. The production will feature musical direction by Yshani Perinpanayagam, who will oversee the live rendition of the show’s award-winning score. Fans of the studio cast album, which has already amassed millions of streams, will finally have the opportunity to hear celebrated songs like "Starlight" and "Broken Dreams" performed in a theatrical setting.

The performance at the Adelphi Theatre is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm. Given the "one-night-only" nature of the event and the significant online following the musical has already established, tickets are expected to be a high priority for musical theatre enthusiasts. This gala represents a pivotal moment for the production as it moves from a studio concept to a live West End stage.
