Teal Moon Productions has announced the world premiere of Give Her My Love, a poignant and bold new play by writer Jake Hart. This 75-minute production explores the "fragile, vulnerable in-between" of a relationship—the emotionally charged space where love, identity, and selfhood collide during the process of a breakup.

A Journey of Identity and Connection

Refusing to focus on traditional beginnings or endings, the play utilizes intimate monologues and tense duologues to follow Ava and Dodi after a turbulent year together. As the two separate, the narrative traces their individual emotional landscapes, navigating the grief and longing that surface when a defining love is lost.

The play is set between London and County Mayo, Ireland, a geographical duality that reflects the British-Irish identity of its characters and the writer’s own theatrical roots. Developed with careful consultation, Give Her My Love weaves queer identity authentically into its core, ensuring an emotional truth that resonates with contemporary audiences.

The Cast and Creative Team

The production stars Dión Di Maio (Mountview graduate and NewsRevue alumna) and Aoife Morgan Jones (The Lir Academy graduate and National Youth Theatre member). Both actresses bring extensive experience from the UK and Irish stages, including recent standout performances at the Dublin Fringe Festival.

Under the direction of Sorcha Harris, the creative team includes Associate Producer Adam Nightingale, an award-winning filmmaker and director. The project is a collaboration between Teal Moon Productions and Stepping Out Theatre.

Challenging the Industry

Founded in August 2025 by actor Scott Folan, Teal Moon Productions is a company rooted in radical transparency and artist ownership. Following the sold-out success of their Be More Chill anniversary concert and the original musical Something In The Water, the company continues its mission to "disrupt, dismantle, and rebuild" a fairer, people-powered theatre industry.

Give Her My Love is recommended for audiences aged 14 and over. With its raw exploration of modern connection, it promises to be a standout addition to the 2026 theatrical season. Buy tickets here.
