London’s historic Wilton’s Music Hall—the world's oldest surviving Grand Music Hall—has officially announced a Summer 2026 season defined by "irresistible variety." From April through July, the Grade II* listed venue will host an eclectic mix of award-winning comedy, reimagined literary classics, and haunting silent cinema.

Theatrical Innovations and Parodies

The season kicks off with the Parisian twilight world of Christine Bovill (April 14–18), followed by the award-winning Edinburgh Fringe hit Biff to the Future (April 20–25). This hilarious parody turns the Back to the Future trilogy on its head, placing the infamous Biff Tannen at the center of the timeline.

June brings a heavy-hitting literary lineup, including Nathaniel Parker in a visceral dramatic reading of T.S. Eliot’s The Waste Land (June 11–13) and a dazzling, multi-media reimagining of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway (June 16–20).

Comedy and Cabaret Heavyweights

Comedy fans can look forward to double Edinburgh Comedy Award winner and Taskmaster star John Kearns, who brings his surreal stand-up Tilting at Windmills to the hall in May. He is joined in the lineup by the critically acclaimed John Tothill, performing his award-nominated show This Must Be Heaven for one final London date on May 22.

Adding a rollicking spirit to the hall, Sh!t Theatre makes its Wilton’s debut with the politically sharp Drink Rum with Expats (June 2–6), while Tricity Vogue’s All Girl Swing Band returns to celebrate the rebel spirit of cabaret.

Music and Cinematic Masterpieces

The season is punctuated by unique musical experiences, including:

Gill Hicks: The 7/7 survivor shares her life-affirming story in Still Alive (And Kicking).

Spitalfields Music: Celebrating their 50th anniversary with high-profile double bills.

Silent Cinema: The summer concludes with a Silent Comedy Pick ‘n’ Mix, featuring live scores for classics like Nosferatu and a centenary screening of Buster Keaton’s The General.

With seasonal pizzas served in the Mahogany Bar, Wilton’s continues to offer an immersive, atmosphere-rich experience that bridges the gap between London’s Victorian past and its vibrant creative future.
