The hunt for "Ol' Blue Eyes" is over. Acclaimed West End star Joel Harper-Jackson (Standing at the Sky’s Edge, Cock) has been cast in the titular role of Sinatra The Musical, the highly anticipated stage biography set to premiere at the Aldwych Theatre on 3 June 2026.

Joining him in this star-studded cast are Broadway’s Ana Villafañe (On Your Feet!) as the captivating movie goddess Ava Gardner and Phoebe Panaretos (Strictly Ballroom) as Frank’s devoted first wife, Nancy Sinatra.

The production, written by two-time Tony winner Joe DiPietro and directed by three-time Tony winner Kathleen Marshall, marks a homecoming for Harper-Jackson, who made his West End debut at the Aldwych eleven years ago. "Stepping into the shoes of Frank Sinatra is a privilege I don’t take lightly," Harper-Jackson said. "Frank was my grandad’s hero, so this role is deeply personal."

Sinatra The Musical begins on New Year’s Eve, 1942, tracing Frank’s meteoric rise to fame and the subsequent personal and professional "tailspin" caused by his torrid affair with Gardner. The show concludes with his legendary return to the top, soundtracked by over 20 timeless hits including "That’s Life," "Come Fly With Me," and "The Best Is Yet To Come."

Tina Sinatra, who helped develop the project with Universal Music Group, praised the casting of the trio: "Joel, Phoebe, and Ana illuminate these three people who were very dear to me. I can't wait for West End audiences to embrace them."

Fans won't have to wait long to secure their seats; tickets go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday 4 February 2026, via the official show website. Given the popularity of the 2023 Birmingham Rep premiere, this strictly limited West End run is expected to be one of the hottest tickets of the summer season.
