London’s immersive entertainment landscape is set for a major shift. Phantom Peak, the critically acclaimed "open-world" experience that has called Canada Water home since 2022, has announced it will move to a massive new venue at Westfield Stratford City in Summer 2026.
The move follows a period of rapid growth and international recognition. Having welcomed over 160,000 visitors and secured back-to-back TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice awards, the expansion is fueled by a significant investment from a leading European private equity firm into The League of Adventure, the creative powerhouse behind the brand.
A Multi-Level Steampunk World
The new Westfield location will be a substantial upgrade, featuring a multi-level, fully accessible venue divided into three distinct districts:
Old Town: A gritty, underground industrial mining hub.
Town Square: A modern heart featuring the multi-storey Town Hall and the Thirsty Frontier Saloon.
Lakeside: A scenic area built around an indoor lake and a functional watermill.
The experience will also introduce a three-tier VIP entry system, where premier guests arrive via a personalized train carriage sequence before being unleashed into the town’s evolving storyline.
Technological Magic
The Stratford venue isn't just larger; it’s smarter. New "Wingman" units—custom-built technology—will allow actors to trigger localized lighting, sound, and physical effects in real-time. This ensures that every quest and character interaction feels reactive and "magical" for small groups of guests.
For those not looking to complete quests, a fully themed bar will be open seven days a week, offering specialty cocktails and access to arcade and carnival games.
A New Chapter for London Tourism
The original Canada Water site will take its final bow on February 28th, 2026, after 625 performances. Its successor at Westfield highlights a growing trend in UK retail; research shows nearly half of UK consumers now prioritize entertainment-led experiences when visiting physical destinations.
