The London Theatre Company has unveiled a stunning set of production photos for its major new revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s beloved musical, "Into The Woods." Directed by Jordan Fein, this ambitious production is currently captivating audiences at the Bridge Theatre, where it is scheduled to run until May 30, 2026.

A Fairytale Reimagined

Marking the first major London staging of the musical since 2016, this production features a visionary creative team, including set and costume designer Tom Scutt. Together, they bring a fresh, immersive energy to the Pulitzer Prize-winning story that weaves together the classic tales of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Ridinghood, and Rapunzel.

The narrative follows a Baker and his Wife who venture into the woods to lift a witch's curse. Along the way, their lives intersect with iconic Grimm characters, eventually moving past the traditional "happy ever after" to explore the complex consequences of getting exactly what you wished for.

An Award-Winning Ensemble

The Bridge Theatre has assembled a powerhouse cast of stage veterans and rising stars to populate this magical forest:

Jamie Parker (Olivier winner for Harry Potter) stars as the Baker.
Katie Brayben (Two-time Olivier winner) joins him as the Baker’s Wife.
Kate Fleetwood (London Road) takes on the formidable role of the Witch.
Chumisa Dornford-May (recently seen in The Great Comet) plays Cinderella.
Jo Foster (Why Am I So Single?) portrays Jack.

A Landmark Revival

Originally debuting on Broadway in 1986, Into The Woods remains one of Sondheim’s most celebrated works, winning Tony Awards for both Best Original Score and Best Book. This new iteration at the Bridge Theatre continues the musical's rich London legacy, following in the footsteps of acclaimed productions at the Donmar Warehouse and the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

With its intricate puppetry, evocative lighting, and a 17-person cast, this production is a must-see for 2026.
