RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Champion and recent Celebrity MasterChef star Ginger Johnson is set to embark on an extensive UK tour with her brand new live spectacular, Show Pony. The tour is scheduled to run from September 2026 through to February 2027.
Following her explosive success on the runway and in the kitchen, the self-proclaimed "nation’s silliest sausage" is ready to return to her element: the live stage. The announcement comes after the critically acclaimed, sold-out success of her 2024 solo tour, Ginger Johnson Blows Off!.
Promising a "barnstorming night of whip-smart comedy and top-tier talent," Show Pony promises high camp, low morals, and double helpings of Ginger’s trademark ridiculousness. The new production aims to solidify her reputation as one of Britain’s most beloved and successful queens.
"In between whipping up a storm in the MasterChef kitchen, I’ve been busy cooking my brand new live show and I can’t wait to dish it out in theatres up and down the UK in 2026 and beyond!" Ginger said upon announcing the tour.
Known for being "unapologetically daft" (The Guardian) and an "unholy drag spawn of Evel Knievel, Lucille Ball and Danny La Rue" (The List), audiences can expect an evening of "deliciously camp silliness" and "irreverent and escapist fun."
Ginger Johnson shot to international stardom after being crowned the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series five, following a 15-year career as an award-winning cabaret artist and theatre maker. Her recent screen credits include competing in full drag on Celebrity MasterChef and creating and starring in her own genre-bending BBC Three show, Ginger’s House.
