The National Theatre and Sonia Friedman Productions were delighted to host some of the Celebrity Traitors contestants at the Noël Coward Theatre in the West End on Monday evening (17 November 2025) at a performance of their critically acclaimed production of The Importance of Being Earnest which Stephen Fry is currently starring in.

Claudia Winkleman, host of the hugely successful reality television series which recently aired on BBC One, joined winner Alan Carr and Mark Bonnar, Tameka Empson, Kate Garraway, Celia Imrie, and Nick Mohammed and they joined their fellow contestant Stephen Fry on stage, post-show, to meet the wider cast.

Olly Alexander plays the role of Algernon Moncrieff with Nathan Stewart-Jarrett as Jack Worthing, Hugh Dennis as Rev. Canon Chasuble, Shobna Gulati as Miss Prism, Kitty Hawthorne as Gwendolen Fairfax, Jessica Whitehurst as Cecily Cardew, Hayley Carmichael as Merriman/Lane and Stephen Fry as Lady Bracknell.

Jasmine Kerr, Sam Liu, Gillian McCafferty, Elliot Pritchard and Liv Spencer complete the cast as ensemble and understudy members.

Directed by Max Webster, this production of The Importance of Being Earnest is a joyful and flamboyant reimagining of Oscar Wilde’s most celebrated comedy. It is running at the Noël Coward Theatre until 10 January 2026.
