Disney Theatrical Group has lifted the curtain on the full cast and creative team for the brand-new stage adaptation of the 2017 smash-hit film, The Greatest Showman. The production, which features songs by EGOT winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, will have its world premiere at the Bristol Hippodrome for a strictly limited run from March 15 to May 10, 2026.

Leading the company are Oliver Tompsett (& Juliet, Kinky Boots) as the visionary P.T. Barnum and Samantha Barks (Frozen, Les Misérables) as his wife, Charity Barnum. They will be joined by Lorna Courtney (Tony nominee for & Juliet) as Anne Wheeler, Ben Joyce as Phillip Carlyle, Vajèn van den Bosch as Jenny Lind, and Malinda Parris as Lettie Lutz.

The creative vision for the musical is helmed by director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon). The production will feature all the GRAMMY-winning, Oscar-nominated hits from the film—including "The Greatest Show," "A Million Dreams," and "This Is Me"—alongside brand-new songs written specifically for the stage by Pasek and Paul. The book is by Tim Federle.

Nicholaw praised the ensemble: "After an exhaustive search we have gathered a group of artists whose talent will bring to life this fantastic story." Star Oliver Tompsett called the role a "privilege," while Samantha Barks expressed her delight at rejoining the Disney family to bring the magical story to the stage.

Based on the 20th Century Studios film, this musical marks the first time Disney Theatrical Group has adapted a 20th Century Studios title for the stage.

Priority booking for the Bristol premiere opens on November 4th at 12pm, with general sale beginning on November 6th at 10am. Audiences are invited to sign up for access now at www.thegreatestshowman.co.uk.
