Producers Michael Harrison and David Ian are thrilled to announce that their celebrated production of the musical Annie will begin a major UK and Ireland tour in 2026. The smash-hit show is set to open at the New Wimbledon Theatre on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with a tour schedule that includes more than two dozen cities through early 2027.

Set against the backdrop of 1930s New York during the Great Depression, the musical tells the heartwarming story of brave young Annie. Forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage, her luck changes when she's chosen to spend a fairytale Christmas with the famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. But the spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search for her true family.

This stunning production brings to life the show’s Tony Award-winning book and score, featuring unforgettable songs that have become classics in their own right. Audiences can look forward to belting out hits like “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You,” and the timeless anthem “Tomorrow.”

Directed by Curve’s Artistic Director, Nikolai Foster, with a creative team that includes set and costume design by Colin Richmond and choreography by Nick Winston, this tour promises to deliver a spectacular experience for all ages.

The tour kicks off in Wimbledon and is scheduled to visit major cities including Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Dublin, Bristol, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. Fans can mark their calendars, as tickets for many dates go on sale starting September 12, 2025. More dates and casting information will be announced soon.
