Prepare for a frightfully good time as Disney's Hercules transforms into a Halloween spectacle for one night only. On October 31, the underworld's most notorious villain, Hades, will take over the Theatre Royal Drury Lane with a special surprise "third act" and a series of haunting festivities.
The evening promises to be filled with music and mayhem from the moment audiences arrive. Starting at 8 pm, the theatre's front-of-house will be decked out in a spooky theme, offering unique photo opportunities before the show. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their best spooky attire, with extra credit for Disney Villain-inspired costumes—just be sure your horns don't block the view of others.
The takeover extends to the bar, where spirits will be flowing with specially themed cocktails created for this one-off event. In a partnership with Ravensburger, the creators of the Disney trading card game Lorcana, there will also be giveaways and special prizes for guests.
The main event, however, is a surprise "third-act" performance that promises to make the night uniquely special. The details are being kept under wraps—presumably at Hades' command—but it's guaranteed to be a fitting finale to the Halloween celebration.
Starring Luke Brady as Hercules and Stephen Carlile as Hades, the musical is a witty and action-packed retelling of the classic myth. With music by Alan Menken and lyrics by David Zippel, the show is a hit with both critics and audiences.
