Cirque du Soleil is set to bring one of its most beloved and successful shows, OVO, back to the Royal Albert Hall for a limited four-week engagement from January 9th to February 1st, 2026. This joyous and acrobatic celebration of the insect world, which became Cirque du Soleil's most successful London run in its original form in 2018, promises to be even more dazzling.
Reimagined Spectacle with Local Talent
Created in 2009, OVO (Portuguese for "egg") returns with a completely reimagined set design, thrilling new acrobatic acts, original characters, vibrant new costumes, and reinvented music. The show will feature 53 world-class acrobats and musicians from 25 countries, bringing to life a colorful insect colony that delights audiences of all ages.
Adding a special local touch, two renowned British talents will feature prominently. London-born Robin Beer will return as "The Voyager," a rare British clown in Cirque du Soleil, bringing his unique blend of humor and warmth. Additionally, Warwick native Lydia Harper will serve as Artistic Director of OVO, marking a homecoming for the former circus acrobat and actress who has been a creative force within Cirque du Soleil since 2015.
A Dazzling Celebration of Life
At its heart, OVO tells a charming love story between a quirky fly and a spirited ladybug, all unfolding around a mysterious egg. The production is a breathtaking display of athleticism, featuring acts like aerial silks, Chinese poles, trampoline wall, contortion, and more. With over 100 cast and crew members, the show creates a vibrant world of crickets, ants, butterflies, and beetles, set against a stunning backdrop of giant flowers and a towering 19-meter climbing wall.
