Sadler’s Wells has unveiled a thrilling new season of dance for Autumn 2025, featuring world premieres, international talent, and the launch of the YFX Youth Festival, all underlining the venue’s commitment to global storytelling and artistic innovation. Over 35,000 tickets will be released at £25 or less, making this bold programming accessible to a wide audience.

Eight of Sadler’s Wells’ Associate Artists — including Crystal Pite, Akram Khan, Sharon Eyal, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Hofesh Shechter and more — headline the season, alongside the acclaimed International Associate Company Acosta Danza, which celebrates its 10th anniversary with UK premieres by Javier de Frutos and Goyo Montero.

The Composer Series returns with Marking Time (20–22 Nov), inspired by the music of Nico Muhly, featuring choreography from Jules Cunningham, Michael Keegan-Dolan, and Maud Le Pladec. Other standout events include the UK premiere of Mimi’s Shebeen by Alesandra Seutin (22–24 Oct), exploring the life of South African icon Miriam Makeba, and Thikra: Night of Remembering (28 Oct–1 Nov), Akram Khan’s all-female dance tribute to memory and identity.

Sadler’s Wells East will host The Machine of Horizontal Dreams (16–18 Oct), a bold installation by Pepa Ubera challenging Western ideals of progress. Meanwhile, Hofesh Shechter’s Theatre of Dreams (15–18 Oct) and the Olivier Award-winning Sutra return by popular demand.

Launching this summer, the new YFX Youth Festival (July 2025) celebrates the UK’s vibrant youth dance scene, in partnership with One Dance UK. It features performances from national youth dance companies, emerging choreographers, and showcases by regional youth groups.

Sadler’s Wells will also welcome a wave of new talent making their debut, including Ballet Black, Andrea Peña, Armin Hokmi, Copenhagen Collective, Yewande 103, and viral sensation Sadeck Berrabah with his precision-driven Murmuration Level 2 (10–20 Sept).

Looking ahead to 2026, music icon Chaka Khan will be celebrated in I’m Every Woman, a new stage musical premiering at the Peacock Theatre (5–28 Mar), directed by Racky Plews.

Tickets go on sale beginning 12 May for members, with general release on 19 May 2025.
