Jaja has done everything right. First-class degree, ICAN-certified, determined spirit. Yet, the only thing his education has earned him is seven years of walking the streets with a CV nobody reads. One interview turns into unpaid labor. Another demands bribes. The system is rigged, and absurd.
Through biting humor and unfiltered truth, Dear Applicant takes us into the chaotic and often humiliating world of job-seeking in Nigeria. It is a story of desperation, survival, and the crushing weight of a system designed to break the spirit of its brightest minds. But even in the face of rejection after rejection, Jaja refuses to disappear. Because if nobody notices you, are you even there?
