From Netflix to Camden Fringe, Anastasiya Ador debut her one-woman-show 'Selfies, visas and how I pay for my dinners'.

Immigration struggles, odd jobs, Bollywood and self-discovery through Earl Grey.

The play talks about double immigration, odd/sexy jobs, desperate desire to get an English accent and constant struggle of getting a new visa. Anastasiya will take you on a journey of self-discovery and what does it actually mean “to belong”.

Juggling jobs like waitressing in a private members club to being an interpreter to a criminal to being a Martini girl and act in a Netflix show, she lived it all.

Expect physical comedy, warm chats, cabaret and definitely no singing. Written and performed by Anastasiya Ador, she will do whatever it takes to make you laugh and cry. And maybe dance.

There are no reviews for this show yet because it’s a debut, but in Anastasiya’s words: “It’s not work in progress. It’s a five star show!”

Writer and Performer Anastasiya Ador said: “I’ve always been an outsider. Throughout my journey, spanning from the heart of Eastern Europe in Belarus, through the vibrant summers of Ukraine, and finally settling in India at the age of 16 before embarking on yet another leap to the UK in 2021, I've always felt like an outsider. Caught between cultures, languages, and worlds, I grappled with the sense of not quite fitting in anywhere. Now all of that I’m trying to explore in the one woman show but I’m not taking myself seriously at all. Being a clown and a dancer, I’d love to talk about identity and belonging through what I know best. And to me identity is fluid, it constantly changes no matter where I go…And I love it. I love being an outsider.”
