The Old Vic today releases the first look inside the rehearsal room of The Constituent, a new play from writer Joe Penhall, directed by Matthew Warchus.
The Constituent stars Anna Maxwell Martin as a hard-working opposition backbencher whose ideals of public office are tested by the demands of a man in crisis, played by James Corden, and further challenged by her parliamentary protection officer, played by Zachary Hart.
The cast also includes understudies Seán Donegan, Zara Tomkinson and George Evans.
This volatile new play deconstructs the conflict between public service and personal safety.
