Cordelia (Antonia Campbell Hughes) lives with her twin sister, Caroline (Antonia Campbell Hughes) in a basement flat on Hunter Street, Central London.
Once a promising actress, an event years ago in Cordelia’s life changed her outlook and emotional state. She became reclusive, introverted and left acting.
In recent times she has gradually become more understanding of her experience and carefully took back to her profession as an understudy in the theatre, landing ‘King Lear’ as her first major move into integrating with society once more.
Her gradual move towards independence is placed into jeopardy, however, when her sister leaves with Matt (Joel Fry), her boyfriend, for a weekend away.
Seemingly able to cope at first, she meets Moses (Michael Gambon), their neighbour – an eccentric recluse.
She also meets Frank (Johnny Flynn), the mysterious cellist from upstairs and with whose music she has been fascinated by. As their relationship develops, Cordelia is unsure of Franks’ motivations.
There is also the stalker who has been watching Cordelia and calling the landline with cryptic messages.
The weekend is overwhelming for Cordelia and she begins to unravel, regressing back to the state of confusion she has tried so hard to repress ever since surviving that terrible event many years ago.To enter simply name a show on our new Theatre Tickets Directory.
