Tony Award-winning actress Ruthie Ann Miles is pregnant two years after losing her four-year-old daughter, Abigail, in a car accident.

The Broadway actress took to Instagram on Saturday to announce that she and her husband Jonathan Blumenstein are set to become parents again.

"We are expecting another child this spring!" she wrote. "Thank you especially to the many of you who supported us in the aftermath of the crash, continually lifted us up in prayer, and doused us with Love, encouraged us, let us be & grieve these two years... and now rejoice with us in this new life."

Miles's daughter died in March 2018, after she was hit by a car while leaving a church event. The son of the 36-year-old's friend also lost his life.

Two months later, Miles, who was pregnant at the time, revealed she had lost her unborn child just weeks before her due date.

She had been planning on naming their daughter Sophia.

"We know Abigail Joy and Sophia would have loved being big sisters & are watching their family grow," the star ended her latest post.
