Sophie Ellis-Bextor shot to fame as a vocalist on Spiller’s global smash hit ‘Groovejet’ and followed up with ‘Take Me Home’ and ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ to cement her place as one of the UK’s best loved pop icons. Her debut solo album ‘Read My Lips’ hit #2, sold more than 2 million copies and went double platinum. Ex-Spice Girl, Melanie C teamed up with Sink The Pink to tour the country with her hits, brought to life on stage by the menagerie of make-up, glitter, high heels and wigs that announce the arrival of the Sink The Pink drag troupe. Such was the reception they ended up performing together on The Graham Norton Show on BBC1.
