Ex Nihilo Theatre Group in association with Park Theatre are proud to present the World Premiere of Dialektikon by Jacky Ivimy. DIALEKTIKON is a deliciously dark ‘down-the-rabbit-hole’ tale of a young woman on a journey to find herself, her courage and hope for a world in danger. The production runs from 6th – 29th December. Press night is on Monday 10th December at 7pm.



As a dragon roars, Miranda wakes in Moloch’s kingdom of greed, war and destruction. Led by a mysterious spirit guide, warned by great voices from the past, seduced by Moloch’s wily Servant, how will she find a way out?

Dialektikon is directed by Adébayo Bolaji and stars Mary Nyambura, Sabina Cameron, Benjamin Victor, Robert Lightfoot, Rhys Anderson, Russell Anthony, Minal Patel and Adrian Decosta.

Mary Nyambura plays Miranda. Her theatre credits include Four Corners One Heart (Theatre 503) and TYPT 12 (Talawa Theatre Company). Her television credits include Teachers (ITV 4) and Top Girl (Fierce Productions).

Sabina Cameron plays Ayida Wedo, the spirit guide. Her theatre credits include Taking The Rap (Southwark Playhouse), Expensive Shit (Traverse Theatre) and Steering Through Stars (UK Tour). Sabina’s television credits include Summer of Rockets (BBC 2), The Bill (Talkback Thames), Shoot The Messenger (BBC Television) and Waking The Dead (BBC Television).

Benjamin Victor, who is an actor and a writer, plays The Servant. Most recently Benjamin performed to critical acclaim as Igor Stravinsky in Opera di Firenze's production of L'Histoire du Soldat in Florence. His other credits include Lord Of The Flies (Greenwich Theatre), Mr Kolpert (Lion & Unicorn), The Collector (The Space) and The Seagull (Camden People’s Theatre).

Robert Lightfoot plays Allen Ginsberg. Robert’s theatre credits include Alice’s Adventures Underground (Les Enfants Terribles), 2 Complicated (Punchline Theatre) and Of Mice and Men (Tin Shed Theatre Company).

Rhys Anderson plays R.D. Laing. Rhys trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and graduated in 2018. His credits whilst training include The Caucasian Chalk Circle, The Sound and the Fury, Her Naked Skin, Julius Caesar and Uncle Vanya. Dialektikon marks Rhys’ professional stage debut.

Russell Anthony plays Herbert Marcuse. His theatre credits include Quiz (Noël Coward Theatre), Hay Fever, Pygmalion and The Ladykillers (Theatre Royal Windsor), An Ideal Husband, Pools Paradise and The Importance of Being Earnest (Manor Pavilion Theatre Sidmouth), The Full Monty (Noël Coward Theatre and UK tours) Romeo & Juliet (Antic Disposition, tour) and We Have To Tell Jacob (Southwark Playhouse).

Minal Patel plays Gregory Bateson. His theatre credits include As You Like It (Southwark Playhouse), The Three Musketeers (Barbershopera), Beauty and the Beast (Theatre Royal Stratford East), The Queen and I (Arcola Theatre) and Aspects of Love (Hope Theatre Manchester).

Completing the cast is Adrian Decosta, who plays Stokely Carmichael. Adrian’s theatre credits include Duwayne (New Vic Productions, UK Tour), Nation (National Theatre), Ma Vie En Rose (Young Vic), The Taming of the Shrew and The Merchant of Venice (RSC).
