Two lovers take an elixir with ever-lasting consequences. The creators of five-star sell-out hit, In Tents and Purposes (Assemble Fringe 2016/SOHO Theatre/UK Tour), return to compete with their egos in a new comedy-play about the reality of living for eternity.

Viscera Theatre is a producing team and comedy duo co-founded by Roxy Dunn and Alys Metcalf. Its Edinburgh debut in 2016, In Tents and Purposes received a 5-star sell-out run at Assembly before transferring to SOHO Theatre and touring the UK. Roxy and Alys have TV projects in development with Hartswood Films and Merman. Their web series Habits was recently awarded Runner Up in the Funny Women/Comedy Central UK short film competition.

Alys's comedy-play Unearthed (Arcola Theatre/UK Tour) was chosen as one of the Guardian Reader's top theatre picks. Her award-winning short film Remnants was screened at London Short Film Festival. As an actor, she's recently finished shooting feature film Dirty God (Viking Film, BFI) and was in the Oliver award-winning cast of The Play That Goes Wrong (West End).

Roxy’s play Timmy was shortlisted for the Channel 4/Oran Mor Comedy Drama Award and is playing for the run of the festival at Assembly George Square Studios Four (4.15pm). As an actor she’s appeared as a series regular in Channel 4’s Babylon directed by Danny Boyle, as well as several BBC comedies. She's recently finished shooting on BBC3's new series Wannabe.
