This May sees the UK release of the Original Cast Recording of the Off-Broadway musical based on the 1999 cult film Cruel Intentions (a steamy, stylish look at Manhattan’s privileged youth and their wanton games of sexual manipulation, starring Sarah Michelle Geller and Reese Witherspoon).
Set to pop and rock hits of the 1990s and songs from the film’s soundtrack, Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical features a songbook made up of 1990s hit songs such as The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” and Christina Aguilera’s “Genie In A Bottle”
Already critically acclaimed, Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical US National Tour kicks off in March 2019 and preparations are underway for UK performance runs in 2019 & 2020.
