It’s only a week to go until hundreds of top theatre organisations and industry experts descend on the Waldorf Hilton Hotel and surrounding venues for TheatreCraft 2018, the UK’s biggest free off-stage careers event.

All day on Monday 19 November, over 1000 16-30-year-old aspiring theatre makers will be taking part in workshops, talks and Q&As on everything from makeup to marketing, producing to prop-making and directing to design.

Giants of the theatre industry will be on hand for advice and inspiration – including the 2018 TheatreCraft Ambassadors; Theatr Clwyd Artistic Director Tamara Harvey, Olivier and Tony Award-winning set and costume designer Christopher Oram, Artistic Director of Kiln Theatre Indhu Rubasingham and Royal Shakespeare Company Lead Producer Griselda Yorke.

This year, TheatreCraft are holding an 100 ticket giveaway for performances of West End shows that same evening, with tickets to 42nd Street, A Very Very Very Dark Matter, Chicago, Dreamgirls, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Heathers The Musical, Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia!, Motown: The Musical, The Mousetrap, Pinter At The Pinter, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical and Wicked all up for grabs.

A Careers Marketplace in the Waldorf Hilton Hotel’s Palm Court will feature stalls from over 60 exhibitors including the National Theatre, Royal Opera House, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Old Vic, Royal Shakespeare Company, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, RADA, LAMDA, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, BECTU, Stage One, Mousetrap, Spektrix and White Light.
